The process of switchover from analogue to digital broadcasting of television programmes has been so far successfully completed in a total of seven digital regions, sixteen Croatian counties. Today, 854.172 out of a total of 1 477 377 households, that is 58%, in the Republic of Croatia are successfully digitalised. From today, the Finish have another new human right – right of Internet access with minimal permitted speed of 1 megabyte per second. Finland, a country where 96% of its citizens are Internet users, so became the first country in the world to recognise access to fast Internet as human right. It has also undertaken to complete optical infrastructure by 2015 and in that manner to increase the speed to 100 megabyte per second. [ whole article ]

The Central State Administrative Office for e-Croatia, upon the consent by the Ministry of Public Administration, has rendered the Electronic Office Business Standard Project (SPEUP), which, in accordance with Article 75 of the Office Business Regulation (OG 7/09) in all state and legal bodies in the Republic of Croatia, governs electronic office business. This is the official version of the document (SPEUP Ver. 1.0) whose initial working version was presented on 26 January 2010 in workshops for representative of state government bodies and economic ICT sector.
